Vessel Operations
We centrally manage all our bulk commodity vessel chartering, post-fixture activities including freight risk management, and financial aspects of commercial vessel operations in a single system. Our professional network of agents, stevedores and cargo superintendents helps us in developing the best industry practices for handling a wide spectrum of cargoes anywhere in the world.
All cargoes are stowed and secured in a manner that avoids exposing the vessel and persons on board to unnecessary risk and misleading information. The safe securing of all deck cargoes is checked by competent personnel before the vessel proceeds on passage.

Sanctions screening countries
We adhere to strict compliance measures integrated in SR2 ’s Risk and Compliance Policy about global sanctions country list.
Furthermore, proper due diligence is undertaken before execution of any chartering transaction, a sanctions screening process is expedited to identify and verify that the owners of the vessel or its mandated management companies are not sanctioned or designated individuals by the European Union, United States, or any other relevant national or international authority(ies). The vessels must similarly meet strict international health and safety requirements to avoid any adverse impacts to our customers, suppliers, environment and all other third parties.
